I am nearing the end of AS and looking to do an accounting apprenticeship but have recently found the area of forensic accounting. There doesn't seem to be any websites detailing how exactly I would go about thatt. I would be willing to do a degree but could I go into an area like tax or audit and then transfer to forensic a bit late? Any advice would help. Thanks

Most people will do an undergraduate degree in accountancy or accounting and finance and then either do a one year masters in MSc Forensic accounting on top, or alternatively seek a graduate role where they train you in forensic accounting, the big firms do these like KPMG and PWC. Another way is to do your accounting degree, work for a few years and then you can get a forensic role with the few years experience!
I've just completed my undergraduate degree and i'm off to do MSc Forensic Accounting in September at a different uni, if you need any more help just message me or anything! Hope this helps
