How are you revising for listening and writing? How are you supposed to mark your own writing past papers? Are you feeling confident?

Also, have you seen the defined vocab list - it's like 50 pages long. Are you bothering to learn it?

^ ffs ikr hahaha usually I do alright on them but for this one I didn't answer the two of the last questions.

The writing was alright though. Like the first question was kinda meh but the second one was pretty good for me

Did variant 2. The listening was bloody hard towards the end, and I didn't really get the last bits, just had to scribble down some guesses. The writing was quite easy, think I got between 45 and 50 to be honest. Glad to have German out of the way, pretty sure I got an A*

yeah I'm normally alright in the listening (can just about get to the end with ease) but today I flopped it and I guessed most of the last page. Writing was alright although I was so prepared for a holiday question as they always tend to have one of those! I ended up doing 3a. Hopefully I didn't make any daft mistakes in writing because I know that listening is what will bring my mark down! I'm just hoping the listening grade boundaries are lowered even though they're normally at 28/45 for an A!

In the listening I didn't know it was about a famous persons job but wrote about my job as a famous journalist instead-is that a terrible mistake??
