I have been single for 5 years after coming out of an abusive relationship. I got over the abuse and have had a good life since by making new friends, taking up hobbies and going travelling etc. I have always been happy and not desperate to settle for anything my heart would not be in. I am 32 now and starting to worry a bit as most of my friends are in relationships or engaged.

I keep meeting the same people and I struggle to meet a partner through friends as some people are quite restrictive on their social circle and do not allow 'new people' in. I met one guy who would have been great for me but as I am shy and he is even more timid nothing ever materialised. Does anyone have any advice?

Sorry to hear about your past.

You need to make your interest obvious towards him and go out on dates.. no time for games.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
