I applied for SOAS accomodation for 2015-16 by accident. It seems to still be allowing me to do 2016-17 but can I cancel the other application? Do I need to? What will happen if I get accomodation for this year? What would anyone even want that for?!!!

I would email the accommodation team asap, and then you should get a response tomorrow.
