Hi I was going through my CGP Biology book and was reading that "you need energy to fuel the chemical reactions in the bodies". So with this in mind it later says "muscle needs more energy than fat" "which means people with a higher proportion of muscle to fat in their bodies will have a higher metabolic rate". So maybe im thinking too much into this but if muscle need more energy how does this equal more chemical reactions if chemical reactions require energy. Thanks
