    Hi,

I've recently had a family bereavement and I've been very. very sick and all of this has affected my studying.

I'm thinking of deferring a module, this is my last TMA and and I have an exam on 7th June.

I am eligible to defer a module, however, I hope my scores are not carried forward. Just recently I've just lost a 20 marker question due to the program crashing, which took me a long time to produce in the first place (which was complex).

    Any advice appreciated!
Your scores are not carried forward unless the module allows for assessment banking and even if it does you don't have to bank your scores if you don't want to.

have you contacted SST about deferring? There may be a financial penalty in doing so, depends on how far through module you are. If you use funding I'm not sure how it will be affected. I deferred a module last year but I was only one TMA in so just had to pay an 'admin' fee to defer to the following year.
