Regional PE Fund vs BB IBD

Thoughts on a MM Regional PE fund vs a BB IBD?

Potentially have a chance for a summer internship at a UK regional PE Fund, they don't actually take on summer interns for PE roles there, however, I am interning there this summer (not as a PE analyst) and I've been discussing with them my interest in PE and whether I can come back next year as a PE summer analyst - which they've agreed to have a think about and I am meeting up with someone to discuss it.

If they agree to it, I'd prob have to go through a few interviews with the PE team, but if they agree to it and I end up getting the offer (hypothetically) what are your thoughts on this vs BB IBD?

From my current knowledge my end goal is leaning towards MF PE.
