From the amount of annoying questions I'm posting here, I'm sure you've all figured out by now that I'm going to SA lol.
Next item on my list is visas. Whilst I know we don't need any with a UK passport, is there countries in SA (namely Brazil as that's the first one we land in) in which we need to show proof of outbound travel?
I know in countries like Vietnam you need to show proof that you are leaving within the set number of days in order to gain entry to the country, is this the case for South America too?

Regulations vary by country. Suriname requires visas but you are unlikely to travel there. Proof of a return ticket to the UK (or to a third country) along with proof of funds will be enough to satisfy any immigration officer.
