Didn't a couple of Homerton undergrads get sent down for this (or so the story goes...)?

My bad - Wikipedia tells otherwise:
[Quote]
Professor Stephen Hawking is not to be pennied. This is not actually a rule, but is now widely accepted after two Robinson College students attending a Caius College formal hall were fined in excess of £50 and given a lifelong ban from the college for pennying his dessert.[1] It is also accepted that Robinson College is formally banned from formals at Caius College for reportedly between 150 and 400 years.[citation needed] Further to this, in Michaelmas Term 2006 a student of Girton College pennied Prof. Hawking at another Caius formal, and all members of Girton are now banned from formals at Caius for 500 years.

Indeed, the way I was taught it - if you break a rule then you down your own and depending on people - sometimes buy them one.....

Of course theres always ring of fire, 21...etc etc.

Straddlemaster is another favourite of mine.

Explain someone?

Shoemaster - someone puts one of their shoes on their head, last person to copy them forfeits. Thumbmaster - same but with putting your thumb on the edge of the table. I'm guessing Straddlemaster works in the same manner, but I don't want to guess what exactly has to happen!

There's various similar ones I think... eg. "I am the ceiling master" where everyone has to stand on their chairs and touch the ceiling. Pretty comedy when there's hardly any space and it's difficult to get on your chair without falling over.
