sore womb

what could it mean if u bend over and your womb hurts? as in the feeling of period pains. does anyone experience this when they have period pains? if you were to bend over when pregnant might it hurt??can doctors do a pregnancy test on you there and then? as in i have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, if he were to do a pregnancy test, would he be able to test me there and then, or would i have to come back again or what??
cheers in advance

nope not my bladder it feels like period pains. n wen i get up and move around its painful eek im so worried i might be pregnant...but surely pain when pregnant is not good. so if i was to take a pregnancy test at the docs would i get the results straight away??

they should be able to tell you straight away whether or not you are pregnant

the ones they use at the docs are the same as a home pregnancy test - instant and the same accuracy - so you will need to have left it long enough i.e. so many days after a missed period.
they can do a blood test to check for hcg level aswell which is more accurate but results take longer.
Actually cramping pain that feels like period-pain in the first few weeks of pregnancy is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
I had it with both pregnancies - made me convinced I was about to start my period, but of course I didn't.

That doesn't mean you're pregnant though, don't panic. The fact that you say you're only getting it when you bend down doesn't sound like either period pain OR early symptoms of pregnancy. It could be something completely different.

When were/are you due on your period? If you're worried about pregnancy, I would advise you to wait about 2 days until after the date you are due on, and then take a test. (You can take them as early as the day you are due on, but if you want to be really sure if I were you I'd wait until about 2 days later, because it'll be even more accurate then).

If you get a negative test but you are still getting the pains, go and see a GP.

say i was to have sex unprotected, and then the next day, have my period....what is the chance i may be pregnant?? and then have consequent periods as well (relativly heavy ones)? its just i am seriously showing sooo many symptoms of pregnancy.:frown:

hmm relitavely heavy periods obviosuly are rare during pregnancy but of course can hppen - the odds are on your side there (for not being pregnant). bodies/minds are odd things, i managed to convince myself i was pregnant i had symptoms of swollen veiny breasts, majorly increased urination, excess saliva, bloated pregnant looking tummy, took several tests during this but my paranoia continued. so you can kind of trick yourself into thinking you're pregnant and even show signs of it
so you had unprotcted sex a few months ago then? at least that's plenty of time for the test to be accurate tomorrow... don't stress too much, hope it works out the way you want it
yes like yam says, it's unlikely that you are pregnant given the fact that you are having heavy periods.
Spotting is common during pregnancy, but heavy periods really aren't.

Take a test anyway if you're worried but try not to fret. The heavy periods combined with the fact that these pains are only coming when you bend down suggest that it's more than likely not pregnancy.
