Does anyone know about Mackie that could help me? 1 week before the exam and I've not started properly revising :cry:I just really need to get to grips with the problem of evil.

***also, what do people think are likely 15 markers for each section of this new paper? I've looked at the specimen, but obviously they won't be the questions we get...

Thanks so much

Here is the standard form you need to know for JLMackie and the problem of evil
Mackie suggested the logical problem of evil.

1-God is omnipotent.
2- God is wholly good.
3- Evil exists.

Mackie suggested that these three premises lead to a contradiction. This is because if God is 1 and 2, then 3 should not exist.

But I have no idea whats going to come up as a 15 marker
