I expect this site will be experiencing record amounts of traffic tomorrow as people discuss their results – but I just wondered when people are going to be coming on. I will go to school to pick up mine at 10AM tomorrow so might not be online in the morning before that.

I expect I will talk to my friends at school about it and then talk to my family at home. Then eventually I might get on here and discuss it, probably after 12. Much, much later I might get round to updating my website.

So what are other people doing. I might try and get on early morning if lots of other people are but it was dead quite at 8AM today.

I get up early, so I'll be around to check for any posts from the night and stuff. Apart from that, I'll probably get back about 12 or so (gotta get results at 11).

I get my results from 2 onwards, and after getting results only have an hour or so before having to go to airport, so may not be able to get back on this site for a while, but will try and get on here soonest. I agree, this place will probably be packed, and as a result take ages to load.

My day....

7am - Wake up, fall out of bed, throw up due to tension overload...etc

9am - Leave for college

10am - Pick up results

10:01am - Cry

10:02am - Contemplate suicide while counting the number of letters I hate more than a "U".

........not really planned past that, I expect I'll get round to posting the results at some point.....

you gotta have faith mate and be strong. The worst thing will be standing in the que watching people in front of you either exstatic or depressed as they receive their results. For that reason, I'm gonna arrive early, so that I'm near the front of the que as if not I reckon I'll go skitz.

You get yours nice and early - do the individual schools decide what time they give out the results or is there a set earliest time?

I usually wake up late--around 2pm. I'll be too lazy to go to school to pick up my results as soon as I get out of bed. And if I wait until I am 'refreshed' and ready to go I will be probably be at school from 4 onwards, but they would have sent them in the post by then.

My plan:

1) Wake up at 2. Sluggishly make way from bed to PC and check the UCAS website to see if I'm going to uni or not.
2) Go to the toilet and take a piss (I'm usually constipated, so faeces is unlikely to ensue).
3) Go back to bed and sleep for a bit.
4) Realize significance of whether I'm going to uni or not and what I must do.
5) Get someone else to do it.
6) Wait till Friday so that the actual results slip comes through the post.
7) Get some member of household to bring posted results slip from the door to my bed.
8) Et cetera. You get the picture...

Good luck everybody!!

Sounds like a good day. Just think of how busy pubs will be though, as almost all will be gettingdrunk to either celebrat or try and forget. then if you add the heat, it sounds like a good day for the pub landlord.

i think its up to the schools- what time they want to get up!!

it depends on whether they want to put them in envelopes or sort them out.

It's been a long road getting from there to here
It's been a long time, but my time is finally near
and I can feel the change in the wind right now
Nothing's in my way
and they're not gonna hold me down no more
No they're not gonna hold me down

Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul and no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star, I've got faith, I've got I've got I've got faith... faith of the heart

It's been a long night trying to find my way
Been through the darkness, now I've finally had my day
and I will see my dream come alive at last I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more no they're not gonna change my mind

Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul and no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star, I've got faith, I've got I've got I've got faith... faith of the heart

I'm going where the winds so cold, to see the darkest days
But now the winds are free...only winds have changed
I've been to the fire and I've been to the rain
But I'll be fine cause I've got faith? faith of the heart

Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul and no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star, I've got , I've got I've got I've got faith....faith of the heart
faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe and no one's gonna bend or break
I can reach any star, cause I've got faith, cause I've got faith, faith of the heart

Hehe. On another note I'll be getting my results around 12pm.

At least there's one advantage to feeling like that: You can get a nice surprise when you see you've done a whole lot better .

Hope you don't have to retake everything though, that'll be a strain with A2 exams as well (unless you get to do some in Jan). I know, I only did 2 resits, but had 15 exams in total in the summer, including resits (due to doing my A2s and AS Further Maths too).

I think that I will do all my resits in Jan with the exception of the one maths resit I think I will need (D1 which I screwed up on), I intend to do that in November. Hopefully I should bump up my grades a bit in those (assuming EdExcel don't want me to take on another 1 day marathon of exams)...
