I don't cry all that much, but every so often I will if something is bothering me a lot.

Oh, and I sometimes cry in my sleep which is a bit annoying but that tends to come and go in phases and isn't always a regular thing. I don't know why that happens normally but occasionally it's if something has upset me during the day and then I go to bed it all comes out in my sleep lol.

strange...me too... my mum tells me i do it...i dont actually realise i do

I've cried twice in the last week (yesterday evening and Thursday night), but it's generally less than that. I cry reeeally easily at sad films and things though.

I don't really know any lads that cry unless something really really bad happens. Or they're preparing onions.

Or they're Lewis from Any Dream Will Do...

I cry two or three times a year, usually when I'm extremely pissed off. I can't remember the last time I cried because I was 'sad'. You're not alone in crying over exams though OP, I know plenty of people who cry regularly around this time of year. Plus one girl who cries intentionally to get out of doing work..

I cry whenever I get really frustrated by something.

Last time I burst into tears was when I couldn't manage to make myself understood to a Hungarian police officer who was trying to boot me off a train.

My opinion on crying generally is that it's better to get it over with. I don't like it when people cry in a manipulative way, but otherwise, it's all good.

I cry everyday. Im a crybaby.

It depends completely on what's happening in my life... I can cry constantly for a week or not at all for months. I usually cry when I'm frustrated or scared, because I'm quite good at 'hiding' upset, but that usually just results in me 'exploding' because I can't deal with keeping it all in anymore. Everybody's different - when I'm low I'll cry lots, other people get angry, for example.

My grandma sent me a letter the other day, it had all these pictures of my family with it and i just realised how much i missed them all (havent been home since Xmas.) Im not embarassed to admit that brought a few tears to my eyes :p:

nah, crying is very healthy, i should probably cry more often actually.

I dont go out of my way to cry but I do cry sometimes, very rarely but only when some tragic incident has effected me mainly.

At the minute I cry quite a lot because A levels are stressing me out. But it's always something stupid that triggers it like my PC breaking or something ridiculous and I won't be able to stop. Feels loads better after a good cry though.

Maybe once every 2 or 3 months. Suppose it depends what's going on. Things don't really make me cry these days, I'm probably just becoming numb to how rubbish life is. I suppose the older you get the more used to things you get so they stop upsetting you, or you don't get so worked up over them.

My exams are pretty stressful at the moment but I don't have time to cry about it (not sure why it's a cause for crying anyway), I'm either revising so I do marginally better or hating myself for not working harder. Not much use crying about that, it's my own fault I did no work all year so now the best I can do is get the exams out the way and hope I at least get a 2.ii and don't get asked to leave.

I don't, or at least I haven't in years. I see crying as a personal sign of weakness...am I normal?

I know what you mean, I never cry infront of people because I feel weak, but at the same time I think it's kind of stupid to think it's weak and I would never think it of somebody else who was crying.

I usually cry about once a month. Usually I just let things build up and then get really frustrated over the smallest thing and just cry. If something bad has happened, I can block it out all day until I am alone and cry when I go to bed.

Reply 55

same, i haven't cried for a very long time... i don't see anything wrong with crying in private but i certainly would not want to be seen in public...

bed.

Exactly, but even if I'm on my own I see it as being weak. So I never do it. The strange thing is I never seem to think the same of other people if they cry (unless it's for a really, really dumb reason).

Reply 57

to be honest if i see a bloke crying in public i do question why......

Reply 58

I go through periods where I cry loads of times a day and then not at all for 5 or 6 days, it's odd but I know that I definately cry wayyyy too much.

Far too much for my liking, I am an overly senstive person in certain situations :'(
