    Hey guys,
so I just did my german exam like a few hours ago.
I kinda slipped with my hand during the listening exam and I made a tinyy mark in the barcode on one of the pages!! I got so stressed I missed out on a few questions!
Should it be okay since it was only a tiny mark or do you think it won't work now, I honestly feel so stupid but it was a mistake.. ugh..

Don't they have it so if a barcode is unreadable to an extent that it matters, it gets pulled into a manual pile...?

Not 100% sure though, but as above said, don't worry about it

My RE teacher was speaking about writing in the barcode today and told us stories of how a guy who used to be in his maths class lost 16 marks due to writing in the barcodes. He also told us another story about how a past student of his lost about 24 marks in an RE exam just due to writing in the barcodes.

The paper is hand marked the first time round and then remarked by a second examiner using the computer which scans the barcode. If the barcode of the page can't be scanned you will lose marks. My teacher said even if it's only the first digit of the barcode you will lose marks because the computer needs to be able to scan the whole barcode. Pray to god you paper goes through on the computer.
