I'm in my second year at uni in my course and did fine with my money this year. However I've just had my application for maintance loan back and I'm only going to be getting 3800, which is 800 less then last year.
As such this would mean that it would not be enough to last me for the whole year without nearly a full time job on top of uni.
What I was wondering was that I technically lived with my Grandparents for 6 years and only started living with my parents 2-3 years ago. As such could I put my residence at my grandparents putting them down as my guardians?

Your final year loan doesn't cover you for a full year, just until the end of your course in around June next year. That's why it's lower.

Unless your grandparents are your legal guardians, you can't apply using their income.
