    To avoid shock loading the drive from a large motor to a machine’s gearbox, a multi-plate clutch is used. The clutch, considered new, consists of four pairs of contact surfaces and is required to transmit13kW of power at 600rev/min, working under maximum power conditions.
    If μ=0.28 and the available pressure is 2kN/m2.
    Calculate the required dimensions of the clutch and the axial load necessary.
