What happens if you miss meal in catered accommodation at york

I'm going York in September - hopefully - but like many people I am stuck for choice in regards to accommodation.

I really want to go to James, but they offer no self-catered accommodation.

What I was wondering is whether, if you're in catered and you miss a meal, do you still essentially get charged for that meal, or do you get money back???

You get enough money for a breakfast and a dinner added to your card account from Mon-Fri every week. If you miss a meal, you don't get to keep that money for the next day, it's lost. So don't miss your dinners, basically.
