Hey guys, for one of the universities I want to go to study, the entry requirement for my course is A*AA but I think i'm going to be predicted A*A*BB. Do you think I still have a chance of getting an offer?

Thank you. And what if it were A*A*CC?

Depends on course, uni, personal statement, etc..

My guess would be that you're fine but do note that they often look at more than just your grades.

Either way you may be offered a conditional place based on your personal statement but its a matter of you maintaining them grades - so work hard to aim for A*A*AB / A*A*BB and goooooooooood luck

You would stand a good chance of an offer with either set of predictions, but it will most likely be A*AA. If you therefore firm or accept that offer then you still have to achieve those grades or risk being rejected even if you come close - depending on circumstances outside your control such as the number of other students who achieve their offer.

As with your first question, it will depend on whether the university requires a baseline of no lower than an A across the board. They will make offers based on 3 A2s. A*AA may have the same points value as A*A*B but it is not the same, and a university which makes offers on the basis of grades rather than points won't view it as the same. Whether they let you in depends on how many other people miss their offers as well, since you will have missed yours with either combination.
