I am doing edexcel for Science at GCSE. In the core controlled assesment I got a B which I probably will get atleast a B or C from. However if I got an A in the additional controlled assesment but a D in the exam would I still pass with a C or above pleasse reply I must know

Here are the grade boundaries from last year's EdExcel Additional Science which may help put things into retrospective.

It all depends on the amount of marks you receive for each examination. Hopefully the questions in this year's papers are easy, compared to last year's.
