Im in year 13 doing a2, would i be able to sit my exams in 2017 instead? watch

    Can i sit my a2 exams in 2017? I am aware they have a new spec and now the year below do as and a2 together but i dont know how it works for my year who are retaking, help???? I dont mind resitting 2 of my AS subjects but i dont want to resit photography because i got a B in that and i spent so much work doing it

    Basically as far as I'm aware it works like this...

    2014/15 - Student can sit AS
    2015/16 - Student can sit both A2 and AS retake if need be
    2016/17 - Student can sit A2 retake
    END

    You can retake both AS and A2 exams in 2017 for specifications that are withdrawn this year but only if you took them this year and wanted to improve or missed them this year for a very compelling reason.

    If you mean return to college to study for them next year, this seems very unlikely as they won't be teaching to the specification you require. Most likely you would have to study independently and enter exams as a private candidate.
