    Hoping to study postgraduate MSc Finance and Accounting at Durham, but just wanted to ask if anyone knew how rigorous the application process is? I understand that its considered one of the top UK universities in order to enter a career in investment banking?

    I currently study at UWE reading business management with accounting and finance and am hoping for a high 2.1 or a first. At the moment I am on placement undertaking an accountancy role and have self funded my Investment Management Certificate i have passed the first exam and hope to pass the second before returning for final year this upcoming September. So just wanted to know if it was worth me applying?

    To summarize;
    2.1 or a first in business management with accountancy and finance
    Part qualified in regards to the investment management certificate
    A years experience in accountancy undertaking roles associated with management accounts, budgeting and variance analysis.

    Thanks guys, sorry for the long post!
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
