if this is in the wrong place i apologize to the best extent possible, but i literally have no idea where else to put this
I mean, the obvious answer to this is no. Most people have told me that I need to understand that learning doesn't stop once you finish school.
Another worry for me, is that, most parents are underneath the illusion that acquiring my degree will mean I'm set for life, when the case is that I'm trying to actually get a job and paying off a surplus of debt for student loan. I'm confident that most job applications don't have 'have a degree' as a requirement, if so, I apologize for my ignorance.
Me, personally, I would like to delve into some Software Engineering or any type of programming, maybe freelance. But that's a whole other issue of getting clients and blah blah BELH
What do you guys think? Would like to hear some external opinions. Since ya know, my biggest worry if I were to not go to university is getting a stable career/job.

It depends on the role. It is not necessary to have a degree to pursue a career in IT.
