i swim for my county and now i have to come up with exscuses when im on my period .. im only 13 and i live with my dad and it was so awkward when i had to buy pads , i need a mumm rn. i cant use tampons , its so hard i tried so many time and i cried once. i dont know what to do.

    Do some free bleeding

I found it hard the first few times I tried them as well but that was because I didn't realise there was a method to it, I didn't even read the instructions properly and I threw away the cardboard not knowing there was a purpose to it and thinking it was just packaging. Read the leaflet that comes in the box it really helped me, my mother doesn't use them so I had to work it out on my own.

right. its simple, I was exactly the same as you for ages...i used to think that maybe my vagina was just too small for a tampon and it would freak me out but i did some reasearch and the problem wasnt that, it was that i didnt actually know where my vagina was. Did u know that u can pee with a tampon in? I didnt realise that they were two different holes lol. So basically, even though it sounds odd, my advice would be to explore yourself when at some point. (TMI but start towards the back of the labia- its easier first time) You'll see that when u next try to use a tampon it will be soooo much easier. and you dont have to this all in one day, take your time with this sort of thing, dont worry it'll be second nature to you soon.
