    Hi there,

More degree and careers advice much appreciated!

I know that I could easily slide into marketing having a graphic design degree under my belt (as I have seen others do it before), but would it work the other way around?

If I have self-taught graphic design and have a degree in marketing, could I use this to apply for graphic design jobs, or, with the amount of competition from those with degrees, would this be fairly undoable?

Your portfolio would be more important than your degree.

I think it would be much more difficult then the opposite scenario, but if you can demonstrate you have the skills I guess it should be fine.
