George picks up a piece of wood and a metal spoon. both are at the same temperature:20'c. Explain why the metal spoon feels colder to the touch than piece of wood.

Metal is a good conductor of heat and wood is a bad one. Heat always flows from a warm object to a cool one, to keep them the same temperature. The heat flows quicker and easier to the metal spoon, out of his hand, so his hand feels colder.
