note title was supposed to finish.... and another profound interest

first of all I hope this is in the right place as it could probably go in one of several places however this seemed the best, but I digress

    I'm stuck with a problem...

Throughout most of secondary school I've been aspiring for a career around computer science, and when I chose my A-Levels that's what I mostly based it around ( note: I do love computer science loads as well ). I was left however, with a final choice when choosing my A-Levels where I chose politics. I've now got such a deep interest in politics, economics and a slight interest in philosophy I've been seriously considering PPE.

The problem mostly for me is, I can far easier a career around computer science where a career seems to fall much easier. I have no real interest in going into politics and I can't really see what other careers I could do, alas google has been of little help.

My original goal was to look into data science or something in banks but with a degree in PPE could something like this be done? Moreover, what careers fall nicely from PPE?

Thank you once for reading this

PPE will lead to "something in bank" given that you do it at a decent institution.

I personally was choosing between Economics and CompSci for my degree. My decision to read Economics was, whether its right or not, based on the fact that if I am going to be working in finance, a degree in Economics will give me a better chance of making my way up.

If you don't mind me asking, what role / job specifically was it you were considering / thinking of? That too is part of my thinking.

Would you say PPE is not economic enough to pull off that argument?

I was going to go into trading.

And as for PPE, given that you specialise towards the Economics side and the politics side, IBD will be no problem and S&T should be open as well. (I've interviewed with and interned in FICC S&T with people who do PPE)
