i have to admit that paper was a bit diferent stuctured from previous years thefore left us a little unprepared and lacking in time to think abou tit.
It was meant to be an easier format than previous years..to be honest it didn't look a lot different from past papers we'd done.

So yeh it did need a little time to get your head around. Did you find it easy(ish)?

I thought it went will with the exception of the TofV source question...that was only 6 marks though wasn't it? I'm sure I got one or two for saying how it included the four main countries etc -, I said the child represented Germany though, not those who suffered during WW2 :frown:

It's ok I said that too! I know a lot of people who did that.

But then I put in a sentence at the end saying it was German people suffering..won't do much good though I think!
I found it really easy - I just hope I get my A*

I found the Mock really hard in comparision to the real exam. I still can't understand how I got an A in the mock...

How did you find it?

Was a bit confused with the source on the Treaty of Versailles (the picture of the Big 4 and child weeping in corner).

I think a fair few of people in my school came out thinking this paper was quite hard..only for our hist teachers to tell us it looks the simplest one they've seen in years! haha

But 1 hr 45 mins is never enough!! Why can't the boards just give the extra 15 mins and make it nice number
hey im new in this forum but i did the paper 2 and it was on weimar germany but my sources were different, did you do aqa exam?

yeh i did- there is a thread further below that is on the Paper 2 today - you should ask there

in terms of sources being different is that cos u are comparing my paper 1 sources above to urs?

if i remember...the sources for paper 2 on the weimar were on hyperinflation, i.e. the kids standing around a pile of money.
where do we get past papers for aqa history?

I did OCR i think last year and my test was on Weimar Republic, Germany etc and the sources were quite similar to those you faced...I thought both test, considering the questions, were pretty easy, not simple but easy enough!

I did Medicine for Paper 2, which was probably harder than paper 1 but still thought it was easy enough!

Anyways i came away with my A Yayyyy...i havent seen or didnt get a chance 2 see my actual marks in both tests and overall!..i could be close 2 A* but cant get it remarked anyways!..im happy with my A!!

Good luck to you all!
