Help?

So I am studying history as a 3 year course but I did a foundation year at the beginning (I'm in second year now) but if I was to fail this year (second proper year) would I get the finance to resit the year? So I'd have had 5 years of funding?

If the foundation year formed part of the degree (e.g. BA History with foundation) then yes, you will be funded to repeat a year if you need to. The calculation student finance use for measuring loan entitlement is: length of course - previous years of study + 1 gift year = loan entitlement.
