I'm sitting retakes at an exam centre and have applied to uni this year so my overall results will need to be issued to my unis by august, if I do worse in a unit im retaking will my unis be able to use my older better grade towards my overall grade? I last sat my old exams in my old school.
Will my old exam result count towards my final grade? Watch

If you have provided your exam centre with your previous candidate details and they have done your entries correctly your old results will be combined with your new results and a new grade automatically sent. For uk A levels it's always your best result that is used by the examiners to work out your final grade.
