    He's had a stroke and looks like he has memory problems as a result - maybe damage to Broca and Wenicke's areas?


    May be suffering from Aphasia? http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/aphasia/aphasia.htm
    or possible showing early signs of Alzhiemers.

    The question asks you to refer to literature, so surely it's going to be something you've studied or mentioned within lectures?

    I'm stuck between the two disorders (Aphasia and Alzheimers) as they share similar cognitive impairments :/
    I just don't know which one it is...

    The lecture notes are very basic and don't really go into detail about any neurological disorder

    Choose one and back it up with as much evidence as you can? Then discuss how it could also be the alternative.
