    Back in 2014 I applied to King's College London and also to Student Finance.
    After I got a confirmation from Student Finance saying they'd give me the loan and sending another application form, King's College London refused my offer. I didn't get in.
    I spoke to some people who were studying in London about that and they said that from the moment I didn't get in, I wouldn't get the loan as I didn't have a bank account in the UK and because I didn't get in. They said the college had to tell Student Finance I was attending the course and since I was not, they would not give me the loan.
    After that, I received another application form for the next year. I got worried, I called Student Finance asking if I was receiving any loan. They said I wasn't because I wasn't registered in King's College. I also asked to cancel my Student Finance account. They canceled it and said I'd never receive any letter. After that call, I tried login in my account and I couldn't.
    Some months later I got another letter and one week ago I received another with the application form for the next year.
    Can someone tell me what is going on? Because in the form also says that if I don't send it 9 months before the start of the academic year, I won't be able to apply anymore. And since I never sent any form, I shouldn't be receiving those letters because I shouldn't be able to apply!

    That sounds odd. I did one year at uni, applied, thinking maybe I'd do second year and didn't enrol. I didn't hear anything at all, having not enrolled, sent off my parents details or signed the declaration forms.

    You need to phone up student finance to ask them what's going on.

    We can't advise what's going on with your account from here. You'll need to call us on 0300 100 0607.

    You will always be able to access your account even if your application is cancelled so long as you remember the details, so the fact you can't log in doesn't necessarily mean these have been cancelled.
