Hi. I have completed my access course into nursing.

I am a little confused if I will also need GCSE's in Maths and English?

I was told by a friend that the access course is enough, but I'm not sure it is? I will call them Monday but thought I would ask here as well.

You will almost certainly need your GCSE Maths and English at a minimum C Grade.

Nursing at UEA is incredibly competitive, as are the other health science courses. The access to HE and GCSE's will give you a massive advantage, but on top of that, experience counts for everything. I suggest if you don't already do so, to apply for a care assistant role on a nurse bank and work for a year while completing Maths and English.
