    Well, it was Palestine that Britain promised America, well the Zionist movement to be precise, if they would help defeat Germany during WW1 .. hence the birth of Israel as we know it today..

    At the time it wasnt such a bad idea and in its original form ergo not the mass expulsion of Muslims and the destabalisation of the region by american arms..
