Hi! I have applied to start an access course in nursing/midwifery. I am a mature student so my level of qualification s are currently GCSE level. May I ask if anyone else has had to do this before even starting the actual nursing degree/course and if so, what questions were involved in your supposedly informal interview please. Thank you! Danielle

Hi! Yes I did access before I got into nursing. To be honest it's that long ago I can't remember exactly what I was asked. But I know they like you to be passionate about nursing and also make sure you convince them that you will most definitely be going to uni when you've finished. Aslong as you come across determined and ready I'm
Sure youl be fine. Good luck

I am just finishing my access course. I did a levels but a long time ago and my grades were rubbish. If you don't get in at college, maybe consider an online course. That is how I have done mine, and the flexibility is brilliant.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
