Hi, I was just wondering what the difference is like between these GCSE subjects and their A-Level counterparts! Thank you!

    - History
    - Physics
    - Maths

I'm also taking Sociology but I have not studied it at GCSE

    Thanks again everyone

Only thing that I'm doing from that list is Maths
For me Maths was the same as when you start it at GCSE. It seems hard at first but once you understand it it's easy That and Psychology are the only AS I know I have a chance in acing.
There's so much maths hw though I get set one every lesson and nearer the exams we had to do at least 3 past papers every week. It is manageable but depends on your teacher. Mine was great for making us ready for the exams but it just got a bit too much sometimes

Big jump. But you will get used to it :P

People hype the jump out too much, its not a big deal

The difficulty doesn't gradually rise, it will hit you hard at first but later on you realise that it was nothing.
