My university gave me my second choice for accommodation which is pretty pricey (I accidentally applied for a studio instead of an en-suite) :/ the first payment will be £2113, will my first student finance payment cover this? Thanks

It will be a 1/3 of whatever loan you have been assessed as eligible for, if you don't get the maximum loan i would seriously consider asking for cheaper accomodation.

Yeah, I am very tempted to ask. Whilst I do have enough for accommodation, I think i'm going to find living costs difficult x

yes swapping to the next cheapest option at least would be a good idea, at a guess you'd be left with £35 a week (assuming you get the max loan)to live off at best, which i mean you could feed yourself okay but not pay for phone bills or going out or much else.

You should have been sent (or will be) a payment schedule.
