I've had a bit of a shock today - I received a letter this morning stating my student finance application has been approved, including my calculated loan which on the letter includes a maintenance loan. However, after logging into my online account it states that as I am an EU student I do not receive a maintenance loan. I am confused - do I go by the letter or by what my online account says? I have been living in the UK for 6 years now, I have sent evidence to Student finance in the past few weeks, and I applied for student finance before the new changes took place (I think this was on the 25th of May). Has anyone had the same experience? I would appreciate some advice, I will call up Student finance on Monday and I'm really hoping everything will work out as otherwise I will not be able to go to university, I simply can't afford it. Has anyone got any other advice on what I should do or any past experiences? Thanks in advance for any responses!

You need to phone up student finance to ask what's going on.
