Hi guys- I am resitting this exam thia year after the horrific aqa marking of the last set. I thought it might be helpful to set up a thread for the exam on friday. Post practice answers, wider reading help, tips for revision anything you think might help others or yourself!

    My wider reading consists of:
    -Enduring Love
    -The Handmaids Tale
    -The Collector
    -The Great Gatsby
-Maya Angelou I know why the caged bird sings (poem)
    -Sacrifice (poem)
-Nothings Changed Tutankhamun Afrika (not sure how you spell the name )
    - Funeral Blues WH Auden
    - Streetcar Named Desire
    -Raisin in the Sun
    -Blood Brothers

If anyone knows of a woder reading drama that I could learn in a week for feminism please let me know!

I know this is an old thread, but I found this piece of coursework on Maya Angelou online which some people might find helpful - you do have to pay a little bit for it, but it helped me a lot in understanding her poetry, specifically in terms of explorations of race and gender. This is the link, I hope it's useful to someone http://www.stuvia.com/doc/270266
