    I can't find a straight answer on this, on the Xbox site it has compatibility drivers for Windows XP, 7 and 8 but there's no definitive 'this is what you do for Windows 10' guide.

    I was going to buy this controller but I don't want to fork out for something that then has no chance of working.

    Sooooooo
    1. do wired Xbox 360 controllers have a driver for Windows 10?
    2. how do I install this driver if it exists?
    Thank youuu

    As a general rule like 99% of drivers that are compatible with windows 7 and 8 are normally chill with 10 too.

    As in 'I have never owned a console so there's been no reason for me to buy controllers and/or understand their compatibility with my usual platform, PC'.

    The vast majority of controllers are plug and play with any* version of Windows. This is providing they're wired, if they're wireless you'll obviously have some kind of receiver and the drivers for that.

    * Don't take this literally
