# GCSE French UMS Edexcel watch

1. Hey I was wondering what my UMS is out of 300 so far for the french edexcel exam board.

I got 56/60 for my writing.

I am sure I got 44/60 in my speaking but I am going to say 43/60 to be on the safe side.

The UMS is out of 90 for writing and speaking.
Would 56/60 be full UMS or would it be 89/90 and would according to june 2015 grade boundaries would 43/60 be 71 UMS points as 72 = 44/60.

I am calculating my UMS so I am roughly estimating what I need to aim to get on the reading and listening exam on Tuesday!
2. I think you need around a high A to low A* in both exams to get an A* overall, since I have 57/60 and 54/60 and my teacher said I need low A's in both.

I think I need low A*s in both. I guessed that my writing UMS = 90 and my speaking UMS = 70 which = 160 together and I need 270 for an A* so I need 55 UMS points for both exams! Hopefully that can be done and hopefully my speaking mark increases as my French teacher said that it is likely to go up.
