I've opted to take some online classes and found the teachers' accents really strong that it makes it pretty hard to understand them. I feel kinda bad for feeling like this since I know a person doesn't really have control over their natural accent, but at the same time it's really frustrating trying to listen and absorb the content.

Am I petty for feeling like this?

In the end you are paying for the classes so you want to learn something from it. If it's a school from abroad you could have expected it but you should tell them.

no, it's reasonable, they should be delivering something you can understand, a slight accent is no problem but if it's stopping you understanding the content then it is a prob lem
