i really want to study economics at university but the thing is i now think my AS grade for economics may not be good enough however my maths grade is aroun B/A so if i get a poor grade in economics but a B or A in maths in AS level would i have the chance to study it at uni.
I am planning to learn unit 3 and 4 for economics during the holiday so in school when i start year 13 in September i will be able to work hard and score 90% and higher on class test to boost my predicted grade up

A lot of universities might have a required grade in Economics (or Maths) and if you don't meet the requirements then it's unlikely you'd get a place - do some research into which unis you're likely to want to go to and look what their requirements are

Well, most economics courses don't need economics A level. Are you planning to continue maths into year 13?

I didn't take economics or maths into A2 and I have 4 offers for a joint-honours economics degree and 1 for a business joint-honours degree. 3 of them from RG universities (1 arguably top 10) and 2 from decent universities.

Surprisingly, I didn't get the best best grades.

I got AABC in biology, geography, chemistry and maths respectively. To be honest, the only reason I got a C in maths was because of me dossing around and doing last-minute revision

I think they were more impressed by my ECs  or that the course was rather specialised
