# Aqa Use of maths (A2) watch

1. Hi People,
Not sure how many of you are doing use of maths but considering the first exams this friday i thought it would be good if we had a place to discuss the data sheets and prep work as well as revision.
P.s Good luck to you all with all of your exams
2. What topics do you think will come up for each page of the data sheet for calculus?
3. Hello, how did you feel the Calculus paper went? I found it a good paper. I am resitting Algebra from AS tomorrow and I'm so worried. Last year our college studied Algebra (standard), Data and Decision. I got 2 A's on Data and Decision but a U on Algebra. Worried that tomorrow will head in the same direction. Can't seem to crack completing the square, theres a full question on parabolas too so I know it will come up.

Hi, I am not retaking Algebra,
But for completing the square, half the number before the X and then - the square out side the bracket.
So X^2 + 8X + 4
Will be
(X + 4)^2 -16 + 4
= (X + 4)^2 -12
Hope it helps
