    Hello everyone,I got homework but I have no clue how to do it. Basically I Need to investigate if the same firm always give the best value for varying lengths of the journey and, if not, find at which mileages the changes occur.

    firm a£50 per week250 free milesthen 10p per mile
    firm b£60 per week600 free milesthen 20p per mile
    firm c £150 per weekunlimited free mileage.

    Why don't you plot their graphs? Cost versus journey length. Define the first two as piecewise horizontal and then linear.
