What would people say are the most common jobs with a PPE degree?

I've read some articles online, but they mainly said politician ( not a great help ).

There's less information out about PPE then I would have thought, so if anyone could help I'd ( and people in years to come who find nothing on google ) would be greatly appreciative!

You can do lots of things with a PPE degree, go into law, banking, consultancy, management, the civil service, business, accounting, etc the options are almost limitless. Google " "Philosophy, Politics and Economics" "University of X" "Linkedin.com" " to see what jobs recent graduates from universities you're interested in have got.

It probably varies a bit depending on which university you go to (some PPE courses are different to others) but a lot of people with PPE go into consultancy type work, for example, the big management and accounting consultancies. Others work in things like banking and finance. The politics thing is overstated because it's well known - top politicians get a lot of coverage and it is discussed.

Here's what some friends of mine are doing now (we graduated with PPE from Ox. in 2013.)

Friend #1 is working in the civil service, in the Cabinet Office.

Friend #2 has a trainee job in McKinsey, the US consultancy.

Friend #3 is a postgrad at Stanford.

Friend #4 is writing a book about the political situation in Russia on a paid basis by a big publisher.

Friend #5 is working in Shoreditch for an app development company, she is training as a business development person for them.

And I am working for a professor in a university in London doing research and admin, currently looking for an NGO role.
