Use SUVAT for objects with constant acceleration - e.g. when falling.

Not sure what you mean by free fall equations? Just remember that the horizontal speed of a moving particle is distance/time, and use SUVAT for the vertical part.

Any force can be broken down into horizontal and vertical components, use right angled triangles with the force as the hypotenuse, so one component will be Force x cos(angle) and the other Force x sin(angle).
