I don't want to do a-levels but my parents are forcing me too. I want to do something more practical as my heart and passion is to be with motorcycles. I want to race/stunt and do this as a profession while doing an apprentiship. My parents are controlling my life and I am so stressed out about my exams. I can barley take and tolerate GCSE's so how am I going to do freaking maths mechanics, physics and chemistry as A-levels... I am not passionate about them at all.

Don't let your worries about the future distract you from the present.

Focus for now on your GCSE revision and exams - do the best you can because it will benefit you whichever path you chose.

Once your exams are over you have a LONG summer to do some research into apprenticeships and other career pathways. Use it and do your research, find out about what you can do, what it involves and what you'll get out of it. Once you've got your information together ask your parents if you can have a serious chat about your options for next year and show them how excited and motivated you are for your chosen route. If you can demonstrate to them that you're committed and enthusiastic about this route and that you've done your research to make sure it will get you into the career you would love (and that the career you're aiming for is achievable) then you're showing the sort of maturity and thoughtfulness that will likely reassure them that you're making a good, informed decision.
