My exam board is AQA, I got 56/80 in the controlled assessments, which is a B.
I'll be sitting the FOUNDATION paper and I'd like to know how many mark I have to get to achieve in overall a B.
How many marks do I need to get B in English language? Watch

Pretty much a solid C is needed. I apologise for not knowing exactly, but surely that should give you some leeway?

Depends on the mark scheme - they vary year by year.
You can get a general idea of what you'll need if you google "aqa gcse grade boundries 2015" and scroll down to "English Language" (or maybe "English Language Foundation" and see how many marks are required overall for a B. Subtract the marks you got in a controlled assessment and that is what you'd need to get a B in the exam last year - It'll likely be fairly similar this year.
