    What was that question on malaria and sickle cell? Does anybody have any idea on grade boundries?

    It's something to do with being a carrier reduced the probability of you getting malaria

    I wrote: The shape of the red blood cell of a sickle cell patient is different (not bioconcave), so the red blood cell can not carry the virus/infection quickly to the rest of the body, so the white blood cells can respond quickly and fight against the malaria, so they are less likely to have malaria but I don't know if I am right though.
