The Senior Tutor in Pembroke sent out an email ealier saying that 2 women have been attacked on the path behind the UL...

It didn't say attack. It said "incident of indecent exposure". Admittedly that isn't much better, but nobody got hurt at least.

CUSU have (had?) a campaign to the council to get it lit better, I walked past one of their rallys, where there were about 5 people holding candles. It could do with being better publicised.
Yeah, it's called Light Up Parker's Piece or something. As far as I can tell (all I heard about it was one email that was forwarded to our college members), this year's one was organised by Ticki.

hence her picture appearing in one of the student papers the other week, along with one of her great quotes. I'm still waiting for them to quote her on "Women shouldn't be allowed to get drunk" followed by "I'm so drunk" :p:
According to TCS, Ticki either organises or comments on almost everything that goes on in the university

Light Up Parkers Piece was last week - the college welfare officers were sent emails and posters about it. We're looking at lighting generally though and the City and County Council have said they'll meet with me to discuss it. Any specific concerns, let me know (my email address is on the CUSU website).

That was a bad photo. The quote was quite funny though - I don't really know why that was picked up on.

Helen: I live in fear of reading "Ticki refused to comment" so always try my best to help when TCS/Varsity speak to me.
2004's way down the list... Is everyone OK? You haven't all been abducted along this dark alley have you?
No, us Cambridge peeps do work, ya know...
(not)
Hahah. Actually I do more work than Oxford Engineers (I visited one this week and had a look at her work-load). I've just got a reading week this week, so I can doss around.
I'm an Historian. At the moment, i seem to live in the UL. Nuff said.

Very few other first years have to go near the place- I do cos I'm lazy and its often the only oplace to find the books when I miss the rush.
What about the Seeley?!
I get all my stuff from tha Marshall/Trinity.
The Seeley has one copy of each book, thus the comment about missing the rush. If you get to the Seeley too late, you're buggered, basically.

bleh, I smell of fags and booze.
I'm also now broke because I went to a stupid city bar rather than the usual cheap boozer. :frown:

But I'm also spending over 10k on rent this year, and that's excluding bills and council tax...

I got back last night at 0530 this morning. I feel so ill (and I was very drunk at brunch). I'm still wearing some of my tux from last night.
Yay, last night of Grease tonight. Then I can have a 36 hour party.

I shall be spending the night playing warcraft... again >_<. So much time to kill... I feel guilty.
I shall be spending the night typing up my notes for Economic History.
A little keen. You're taking this degree lark very seriously.

A girl on my floor said after week two "You know what? This vet thing is getting just a bit much."
You see, my reading lists are a mile long, and I don't have access to trinity College Library when I'm on holiday. :p:
